   SEBC/SSP Overall Work Plan

This Overall Work Plan (OWP) has been prepared to serve as the main strategic planning instrument for the Syrian Enterprise and Business Centre (SEBC) / SME Support Programme (SSP) for the period from September 2006 till February 2010. It provides the basic guidelines for the separate Annual Work Plans.

A separate Annual Work Plan (AWP) is prepared every year and submitted to the EU Delegation and the Steering Committee for their approval. The work plan is elaborated based on the Overall Work Plan in force and using the Log-Frame methodology. The Annual Work Plan sets out in detail the activities to be performed during the period, the expected results and the human and financial resources required.

The OWP will also be the key instrument for monitoring programme progress and serve as the basis for quality control and evaluation.

The OWP is structured according to the following layout:

  • Preface
  • Executive summary
  • Introduction
  • Project synopsis
  • Overall approach and strategy
  • Organization and resources
  • Results planning
  • Important observations for project success
  • Management and administration
  • Summary activity table
