   Two Syrian Software Companies Obtain International CMMI Certificate/ SANA 26-6-2012
SANA 

The Global Information Technology (GIT) and the Management Information System (MIS) obtained the international Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) certificate from the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) in the USA.

The certificate came in line with the project of developing technologies and software industry in Syria, carried out by the Communications and Technology Ministry, the Syrian Scientific Society for Informatics, the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the software companies in Syria.

Assistant Minister of Communications and Technology, Ahmad Basel al-Khashi, stressed the importance of obtaining the CMMI certificate in upgrading the software industry in Syria and the quality of the software products, in addition to increasing the competitiveness of Syrian companies in foreign markets.

Chairman of the Syrian Scientific Society for Informatics Rakan Razzouk expressed keenness on continuing its role in software industry and training cadres to provide consultative services to the software companies in Syria.
